الولايات المتحدة
يرتبط حضور الطريقة التجانية في الولايات المتحدة إلى حد كبير بالإشعاع الروحي لسيدي إبراهيم نياس، حيث ساهم عدد من تلامذته في التعريف بالطريقة ونشرها في الأوساط الإسلامية بأمريكا الشمالية.
كما يوجد هناك أيضاً عدد من المريدين الذين ينتمون إلى السلاسل الروحية المتصلة بسيدي مالك سي وسيدي الحاج عمر الفوتي تال، مما يعكس تنوع الأسانيد الروحية التي ساهمت في حضور الطريقة في هذا السياق الغربي.
ومن الجوانب اللافتة في هذه التجربة حضور الطريقة داخل الأوساط الأكاديمية. إذ يشغل بعض أتباعها مناصب علمية مرموقة في جامعات كبرى مثل جامعة هارفارد وجامعة كولومبيا وغيرها. ومن خلال أعمالهم البحثية وتدريسهم ومؤلفاتهم يسهمون في التعريف بالتراث الفكري والروحي للطريقة التجانية في البيئة الجامعية.
