États-Unis
La présence de la voie tidjaniya aux États-Unis s’inscrit en grande partie dans le sillage du rayonnement spirituel de Sidi Ibrahim Niass. Plusieurs de ses disciples ont contribué à introduire et à faire connaître la voie dans les milieux musulmans d’Amérique du Nord.
On y trouve également des disciples appartenant aux chaînes initiatiques issues de Sidi Malik Sy et de Sidi Omar Fouti Tall. Cette diversité de filiations reflète la richesse des trajectoires spirituelles qui ont accompagné l’implantation de la tariqa dans ce contexte occidental.
Un aspect remarquable de cette présence est son ancrage dans le milieu académique. Plusieurs disciples de la voie occupent des positions importantes dans des universités prestigieuses, notamment à Harvard, Columbia et dans d’autres grandes institutions. À travers leurs travaux de recherche, leurs enseignements et leurs publications, ils contribuent à faire connaître l’héritage intellectuel et spirituel de la voie tidjaniya dans les milieux universitaires.
